Why Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.6 '2024' for your ERP / Financials?
The latest version of Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.6 was released in October 2, 2023, and will continue to be supported and enhanced for many years to come. Microsoft recently re-confirmed (Oct. 2023) (PROOF) that Microsoft Dynamics GP has a strong future with the same forward looking roadmap past 2028+ as seen for Dynamics 365. Long Live Dynamics GP! #GPSTRONG. There is no need to change platforms due to fear, uncertainty, and misinformation around the platform's rumored discontinuation. Although Dynamics GP will no longer be for sale past 2025/2026, existing clients will still be able to purchase additional licenses (seats) and receive updates and support from Microsoft to 2028+ and Beyond.

2024 What's New GP 18.6
Previously known at Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics GP is the most widely used mid-market ERP in North America and is proudly supported by Endeavour Solutions for clients in Canada, the United States and globally including Europe, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
The latest cumulative update / version of Management Reporter supports SQL Server 2022, Dynamics GP 18.5 (GP 2023) and the latest Dynamics GP 18.6 (GP 2024) released Oct. 2 2023, and roadmap to 2028+.
As Microsoft is actively promoting its new cloud-based Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP directly via its website, Microsoft is relying heavily on partners such as Endeavour Solutions to continue to promote and educate clients on the LONG TERM value of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains). Anticipated Issue in 2022 for older versions of GP sending automated or user-selected emails directly from Dynamics GP via Office 365 / Microsoft 365. SSL / TLS 1.2 security has changed in Office 365. An upgrade of GP is Recommended.
